IMC Construction, an award-winning professional construction management and general contracting firm based in Malvern, PA, is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Purcell, AIA, CCM, LEED AP to its staff.
MALVERN, PA, January 06, 2012 /Real Estate PR News/ -- As Director of Business Development, Purcell will use his experience and expertise in the Mid-Atlantic construction market to expand IMC's business both regionally and nationally. His role with the company includes developing long-term client relations, strategic business planning, and coordinating marketing efforts. He was most recently Director of Business Development and Marketing at Nason Construction and before that a Senior Associate at Heery International, a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty.

Purcell is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and brings more than 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry as a registered architect, certified construction manager, and LEED accredited professional. He specializes in multi-million dollar construction projects for corporate, education, healthcare and government clients with a focus on integrating sustainable design concepts into building programs.
Purcell is co-founder and Past President of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council and is an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University where he teaches construction law. He is a 2011 Fellow of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia and is active in various community and professional associations including the American Institute of Architects and Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia.
