Michael Cheshire Earns Residence In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Cheshire to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the Real Estate Industry. As Owner of The Cheshire Company, as well as throughout his incredible 30 plus years in the business, Mr. Cheshire has consistently displayed the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The Cheshire Company provides real estate valuations of all types of commercial real estate properties, including going-concern valuations of hotel, motels and hotel/casinos, special purpose properties, retail, office, industrial properties and appraisals utilized for condemnation proceedings. Mr. Cheshire has experience in providing expert testimony in numerous court proceedings and litigation support for various private and government attorneys. This experience includes representing governmental agencies and private property owners in condemnation proceedings, as well as property owners in civil cases. Mr. Cheshire is qualified as an expert witness in District Courts in Nevada and Utah, Federal Bankruptcy Court, the Clark County Grand Jury and with the American Arbitration Association. Michael is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations.
Mr. Cheshire is active in local government service and the appraisal community. Nevada Governor Kenny Guinn appointed Mr. Cheshire to the State Board of Equalization, where he served a four year term as a board member. In 2008 Governor Jim Gibbons appointed Mr. Cheshire to the Nevada Commission of Appraisers of Real Estate, where he currently serves as President of the Commission. Mr. Cheshire is a member of the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute; was a founding member of the Coalition of Appraisers in Nevada; was appointed by the Clark County Commission to the Clark County Board of Equalization where he currently serves as a board member and was a speaker at the 2010 Appraisal Summit in Washington D.C.
