Colliers International Secures Contracts with Bridgewater, Campau Office Buildings
Colliers International | West Michigan has expanded its leasing, brokerage and property management portfolio with the addition of two key office buildings in downtown Grand Rapids: Bridgewater Place and Campau Square Plaza.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI, April 23, 2011 /Real Estate PR News/ -- Colliers International | West Michigan has expanded its leasing, brokerage and property management portfolio with the addition of two key office buildings in downtown Grand Rapids: Bridgewater Place and Campau Square Plaza.
West Michigan's leading commercial real estate services company is handling all leasing and brokerage services for Bridgewater, the largest Class A office building in downtown Grand Rapids. Located at 333 Bridge Street NW, Bridgewater is a 17-story, 400,000 square-foot office tower that is home to Varnum, UBS, Deloitte, New York Life Insurance and other leading West Michigan businesses.
Colliers is also handling leasing and property management for Campau Square, which is located at 99 Monroe Ave. NE. The 12-story building features 200,000 square feet of space and is home to BDO USA, Miller Canfield, Guardian Life Insurance and other companies.

Bridgewater Place was sold in a foreclosure auction in January, and Colliers was retained to handle leasing and sales of the office tower. The building, which is currently more than 65 percent leased, has office suites available from 445 square feet to 30,000 square feet.
Hunderman noted that the building had many benefits, including:
• Convenient access to two major highways
• Easy walking/driving access to Grand Rapids City Hall, DeVos Place, Medical Mile, downtown restaurants and hotels and other popular destinations
• Onsite covered parking with nearly 1,400 spaces, including 225 for visitors
• Full-service amenities, including a cafe, banquet center, fitness center, ATM and others
Colliers has also begun working to lease Campau Plaza, which currently enjoys approximately 85 percent occupancy. Anne Ficeli, director of property management | West Michigan, said that the building has suites ranging from 3,900-11,000 square feet available for lease.
"This is a well-built, well-run, smart building that is located in the heart of downtown," Ficeli said. "It achieved LEED gold certification for existing buildings in 2010 and has been Energy Star rated. It is very efficient - and a great place to do business.
